Prisma on the roofs of the capital with Italia Squisita
Gourmet Rome came together last 22nd April for an exclusive evening at hotel Hassler and Prisma was one of the great protagonists.
Chefs, pastry chefs, mixologists, bakers and other professionals from the world of professional catering (from producers to restaurateurs and hoteliers) celebrated the gastronomic culture of central Italy as part of RomaSquisita, the spring festival of the most important Italian haute cuisine network ItaliaSquisita. It was an evening of conviviality and networking, as well as an opportunity to taste the excellence of the region, creatively and expertly reinterpreted by several international guests – a list of whom will be shared at the end of this article.
Prisma Cocktail Station, an integral part of the setting on the stunning terrace of the Hotel, overlooking the rooftops of Rome and Trinità dei Monti, was used by mixologists to serve aperitifs to the hotel guests.
The compact Cocktail Station, only 210cm long, 80cm deep and 120cm high, encompasses all the essential functionalities for making and presenting cocktails and for setting up a professional bar in any environment, with extreme ease. In addition to the ingredient cutting area and the insulated ice bin, it includes convenient solutions to optimise the preparation process, like garnish rails, point-of-sale station, refrigerated drawers, triple water tank, bottle display case, drip tray, smoothie station and a wide range of other accessories. On wheels, the Cocktail Station can be moved easily, thanks also to its power supply through an electrical socket.
RomaSquisita, however, was not only business: the entire proceeds from the sale of tickets was indeed donated to charity to CABSS – Centro Assistenza per Bambini Sordi e Sordociechi Onlus.
