Prisma celebrates 40 years of Made in Italy for the professional catering sector
Founded in S. Polo di Piave (TV) in 1983 by Silvano Ongaro, Prisma is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of large systems for the professional land-based and maritime catering sector. Today Prisma is crossing the threshold of its 40th anniversary and consists of a covered area of 20.000sqm as well as 140 employees for its manufacturing. It annually processes about 1200 tonnes of steel, with a production value of 30.000.000 euros in constant growth, 70% of which is the result of export activities mainly in Europe.
“I founded Prisma 40 years ago.” Says Silvano Ongaro, founder and owner of Prisma. “I was 36. Since then, I have come a long way in the Veneto entrepreneurship. The recognition for the Legality Rating, for the Loyalty to Work for the Economic Progress and for the Net Worth of my company are goals I am very proud of today, also and foremost because they not only reward the figures of my business, but also its humanity. Today, the new generation is taking over my relay, discovering broader horizons that I would never have dreamt of exploring years ago. Now we are focusing on the super-yacht market - to which we would like to open up strategically - as well as the high-end residential market, which we are targeting with another brand”.
The big celebration took place between Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September, with a visit to the production plant, a party at the Parco Gambrinus Restaurant and a unique experience at Le Bolle Nardini – designed by Massimo Fuksas for Distilleria Nardini.
